Isabelle Mettle

Isabelle Mettle is a 22-year-old producer, songwriter and artist from North London.

Heavily influenced by soul, R&B, jazz and alternative genres, Mettle is inspired by experimental and disruptive ideas that push against the grain. She cites the sounds of Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Blood Orange, and Jill Scott as some of her main influences.

Mettle has integrated her songwriting into her production process since the age of 9, when she first began exploring sampling and production techniques. She defines herself as a “producer and songwriter, who also happens to sing”. Her eclectic and experimental production style is a large part of her identity as a musician.

Isabelle Mettle has been featured on the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio London, Amazing Radio UK & USA amongst other platforms, and has directly worked with some of her musical influences — including RAYE and Snarky Puppy.

Her fresh sound, genre fluidity and innovative ideas unite a variety of listeners, and so much more is yet to come.
