SPITSHINENYC Biography
Founded in 2017, SPITSHINE is an Alternative Punk band based out of Rutherford, NJ. SPITSHINE consists of Kyle Cooke (Vocals/Guitar), Emily Case (Vocals/Guitar), Dan See (Bass), and Ori Yekutiel (Drums).
The original iteration of SPITSHINE got its start playing local venues throughout New Jersey and NYC and has continued to do so throughout the years. As of late, SPITSHINE has performed at notable venues such as The Stone Pony (Asbury Park, NJ), The Bowery Electric (NYC), The Delancey (NYC), Crossroads (Garwood, NJ), and many more.
Influenced by bands like Title Fight, Algernon Cadwallader, and Modern Baseball, SPITSHINE utilizes creative, storyteller lyrics paired with catchy, melodic guitar riffs and intricate rhythmic patterns to hook in their audiences. SPITSHINE creates an energetic and inclusive space at every live show they perform - captivating audiences one song at a time.
SPITSHINE’s debut full-length album entitled “take ur meds, feel better,” was released on July 8th, 2022, featuring the lead single “California.”
