Gregor Bak

Gregor Bak studied musicology at the University of Utrecht. He worked for a number of years as a music teacher at various secondary schools and conducted various choirs. From 1993 to the summer of 2023 he was a conductor of the Ural Cossack Choir. As a pianist he is very versatile: he plays from classical to pop music. He accompanies soprano Francis van Broekhuizen in the theater programs 'Dolle Diva', 'When in doubt, sing loudly' and 'Scandalously beautiful opera'. Together with the French singer Philippe Elan, Gregor gives concerts with the most beautiful French chansons. He is also active as a composer and arranger. For example, he wrote 'Love for ever' for Rob de Nijs, 'Amore e Musica' for Francis van Broekhuizen, 'Je l'espère' for Philippe Elan and the duet 'Les Vacances' for Francis and Philippe.
