Rock Herk is the oldest alternative music festival in Belgium. Since 1983 there has been an edition (almost) every year. At Rock Herk festival you can enjoy the best of cutting edge rock, punk and dance music together with more than 20.000 music lovers.
On 4 stages, Rock Herk offers the most progressive, contemporary and alternative of today's and tomorrow's music.

Alice Mae Biography
Alice Mae, originally named Alexia, grew up stealing her parents’ CDs to immerse herself in classic alternative rock. Inspired by legendary bands like Oasis, The Rolling Stones, and U2, she vowed to create authentic, no-nonsense rock music infused with a female perspective in a predominantly male scene. Now, at 25 years old she’s fulfilling that promise.
Her style reflects her casual nature, yet she can touch you deeply with her special, lived-in voice. Her singing style is raw and sincere, and she has a unique way of conveying her feelings that go straight to the heart.
She writes to make sense of her messy mind, conveying her thoughts into lyrics, in the hope that they might make sense at the end. With her raw voice, passion for music, and vibrant personality, she promises to be an artist who not only touches the heart but also uplifts the spirit.
