Turbulence Biography
Founded in 2013 by keyboardist Mood Yassin and guitarist Alain Ibrahim, the Progmetal quintet already got some well-deserved attention with their previous work. Hailing from Metn, Lebanon, a region not necessarily famous for this genre of music, Turbulence emerged and left a mark with performances that rival the best prog acts in the world. Completing their line-up with Sayed Gereige (Drums), Anthony Atwe (Bass) and the expressive voice of Omar El Hage, their last album “Frontal” impressively showed the band’s ability to combine compelling musical storytelling with modern sounds and production, dubbing them as one of the most proficient and promising Prog bands in the Middle East. After two years in the making, they’re now set to release their highly anticipated, third album. “Binary Dream” will be out in 2024 via Frontiers Records
