Pocket Gum

Pocket Gum have come a long way from their humble beginnings. Serendipity took hold of two lost souls who were meant to find each other. While working in dead end retail, guitarist Joshua Elavia sparked the attention of bassist Ryan Von Sauers through whistling Nirvana’s “In Bloom” into the deep void of a barren, New Jersey department store. Through years of trial and tribulation with lineup changes and conjuring a repertoire of songs, the two curated their sound, fusing their love of punk and shoegaze to create a dream-like and ethereal landscape: shimmering with reverb and chorus to touch the soul. Pocket Gum released their debut self-titled EP in November of 2021 and plan to begin their journey with a steadfast vision as the sole driving force in pursuit of their dream. Their latest single "Wasted" was released March 7, 2025.
