SARA

Sara is a Finnish alternative rock and metal band founded in 1995 in Kaskinen. Known for their unique sound and vocalist Joa Korhonen’s distinctive, soft and ethereal Finnish pronunciation, the band gained recognition with songs like the Emma-nominated "Rauhan aika" and their covers of "Yhtenä iltana" and "Tyhjää." After winning the "Ääni ja vimma" competition in 1999, Sara released their debut album Narupatsaat. Over the years, they have released multiple albums, including Kromi, He kutsuivat luokseen, SUMMA and Pimeys. Their 10th album Hallava coming on January 17th, 2025. The band has already teased the album with two singles, "Valtameri ovella" and "Anhedonia."
