The Sound Minds Biography
The Sound Minds are a powerhouse trio bringing the raw energy of 60s Beat Music back to life. Comprised of seasoned musicians with deep roots in rock and roll, they deliver electrifying performances and infectious energy.
Drummer Chris “Gringo Starr” Sprague is best known for his work with Los Straitjackets & Nick Lowe, and has performed with legends like Duane Eddy and James Burton, bringing showmanship and rhythm reminiscent of Gene Krupa. Guitarist Graham Tichy, a versatile talent, has performed with icons from Commander Cody to Wanda Jackson, showcasing his deep love for rock and roll. Bassist Ian “Ritz” Carlton adds charisma and entertainment, drawing on his experience with bands like GOONS!, The Outta Sites and The Neanderthals.
With a repertoire spanning early-60s frat rock, garage punk, and Merseybeat, The Sound Minds bring authentic rock and roll to audiences far and wide.
