musically while staying true to the authentic sound that has endeared him to
fans worldwide.
Since the early 2010s, Patrick has built a strong presence both in Australia and
internationally, releasing a series of critically acclaimed EPs and full-length

depth and artistry.
Patrick’s live shows have always been an integral part of his success, drawing
fans into his raw and intimate performances. In 2022, he toured extensively

Throughout his career, Patrick has toured with some of Australia’s most
respected artists, including Boy & Bear, Pete Murray, Josh Pyke, The Paper
Kites, and Dope Lemon. He’s also shared the stage with Bear’s Den during their
European tour in 2017, performing at iconic venues such as London’s Brixton
Academy and Manchester’s Albert Hall.

committed to creating music that speaks to the heart, with a focus on honesty,
introspection, and emotional connection.
Currently on a solo tour of Australia, Patrick will then take his heartfelt live

Thoroughly enjoyed hearing Patrick live. What a talented guitarist, songwriter and vocalist and such a good hearted person. I was disappointed for Patrick that he had such a small audience considering his talent. Hopefully if he returns to the Sunshine Coast his event could be publisised better for more people to attend. I love you work Patrick and wish you every success. Tracy

Patrick James Biography
With songwriting credits, TV placements, millions of streams from a strong catalogue of 6 EP’S and a full length record, Patrick now sets his ambitions on delivering work that is free from the normal scaffolding. He simply states “being an independent artist in 2021 is both challenging and liberating. I now really love the idea of my listeners having a real time release experience that parallels my own output as a songwriter. To share as I create, and not be bound by any formal structure”.
With this setting out his approach right now as an artist, Patrick James is back with a new single ‘Grateful’, a song written in the middle of COVID, relating to the feeling of appreciation and admiration towards people around us all that lift us up, make us feel something true and give us a positive spirit.
Having toured Australia extensively as a headline act and also supported the likes of Boy & Bear, The Paper Kites, Josh Pyke, Emma Louise and Pete Murray, Patrick has been very active on the live seen for many years. His travels to the UK and Europe have seen him performing alongside the likes of Bears Den at London’s Brixton Academy and Albert Hall in Manchester to name a few. Using these opportunities to grow a global audience, Patrick will be taking the stage when the time presents itself in the near future and bringing with him a collection of new songs and a repertoire built from the years of honing his craft.
