DJ Shinski, born in Nairobi, Kenya, is a renowned Afrobeat DJ and entertainer based in Houston, Texas. After moving to the U.S. he balanced his passion for music with academics, earning a degree in electrical engineering. In 2014, he gained recognition in Houston's nightlife scene and later pursued DJing full-time in 2019.

Known for his seamless music blends and high-energy performances, DJ Shinski has toured internationally across Europe, Canada, and Africa. He has received multiple nominations for Best African DJ in the USA by AFRIMMA and a nomination for World DJ of the Year at the NEA Awards.
