Jonathan Jeter & the Revelators are a band based out of the DFW area. The band blurs the lines of genres with a mix of indie, roots music, and a healthy dose of punk rock!
Jonathan Jeter has shared the stage with Ray Wylie Hubbard, Chris Knight, Charlie Robison, Reverend Horton Heat, and Ben Kweller among others.
Reviews:
"I think that the reaction these songs will get should lead to many more, and I think we all will be the better musically for it!" - Chuck Dauphin (Music News Nashville)
"This band’s messages may be simple, but there’s definitely something intrguing about its straightforward roots rock." - Joe Ross (Americana One)
"The album is dangerous. It's got leather and swagger. This is how music is supposed to be." - Ray Wylie Hubbard
“Texas has its own brand of everything. You can be sure that applies to country and rock music… and especially any kind of rockin’ sound that crosses all musical genre borders. Which is why Texas-based Jonathan Jeter & the Revelators’ latest album, Late To My Own Funeral, has it’s own unique style. It has an energy and a drive that could get you all the way across the Lone Star State on just a half tank.” - Greg Victor (Parcbench)
“Fans of Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers may get into Jonathan Jeter and the Revelators. “Late To My Own Funeral,” is a solid rock/country effort.” - Jason Tabamor (Yahoo Music)
"The songwriting is honest and pure, which makes this album about as real as it gets. Late to My Own Funeral is a good time from beginning to end, one to be enjoyed by all.” - Brian Campbell (Buffalo Rock Music Examiner)
“Americana, Red Dirt, Country Rock, Twang Rock, whatever the label, you’ll find yourself tossing aside any pre-conceived notions of the sound of Jonathan Jeter & The Revelators. Well-written concepts and lively performances are the order of the day on this debut EP offering." - Lucky Boyd (My Texas Music)
"The saying goes that things are bigger in Texas and this band holds true to that saying by giving us that big alternative country sound." - Jp (Record-Journal Newspaper Publishing Company
