Wendy Kokkelkoren (1975) is sopraan en zangsoliste van The Maestro & The European Pop Orchestra. Ze studeerde solozang aan het conservatorium van Maastricht en zong al tijdens haar studie vele solo concerten, opera’s en musicals, met als hoogtepunt op 19 jarige leeftijd de rol van Maria in ‘West Side Story’.
Na haar afstuderen in 2002 (cum laude) soleerde ze als soliste bij Opera Zuid in grote producties zoals ‘Le nozze di Figaro’, ‘Orpheus and Eurydice’, ‘L'Enfant et les Sortilèges’ en ‘Rigoletto’. In 2001 ontmoette ze Guido Dieteren, met wie ze zowel professioneel als privé een duo werd. Ze trouwden in 2006 en hebben twee dochters.
Met The Maestro & The European Pop Orchestra reist Wendy de wereld rond en werkte ze samen met o.a. Marco Borsato, Paul de Leeuw en Alessandro Safina. Ze trad op voor Koningin Beatrix en Koningin Máxima en in schitterde in diverse internationale TV-specials. Naast orkest- en Tv-optredens bracht Wendy drie soloalbums uit: ‘Feelings’, ‘Aria’s & More’ en ‘Love of my Life’ en komt er in 2025 weer een nieuw solo album uit.

She studied solo singing at the Maastricht Academy of Music and sang during her studies many solo concerts, operas and musicals, culminating at the age of 19 in the role of Maria in 'West Side Story'.
After graduating in 2002 (cum laude), she was a soloist with Opera Zuid in major productions such as “Le nozze di Figaro,” “Orpheus and Eurydice,” “L'Enfant et les Sortilèges” and “Rigoletto". In 2001 she met Guido Dieteren, with who she became a duo both professionally and privately. They married in 2006 and have two daughters.
With The Maestro & The European Pop Orchestra, Wendy traveled the world and worked with Marco Borsato, Paul de Leeuw and Alessandro Safina and many others. She performed for Queen Beatrix and Queen Máxima and in shined in several international TV specials. In addition to orchestra and TV performances, Wendy released three solo albums: 'Feelings', 'Arias & More' and 'Love of my Life' and will release another solo album in 2025.
