This rustic desert gem of a small town is a hidden treasure and a perfect 1950's time capsule of antique shops, roadhouse motels, charming outdoor spaces, 50's diners, and museums. There's even a train! Only one and a half hours outside of Los Angeles, and one hour outside of Bakersfield. Enjoy your favorite Western Swing Bands in a picturesque small town environment. A perfect holiday weekend getaway for Western Swing, Hillbilly, Rockabilly, & Country Music fans alike! ​ Four days and three nights of live music, swing dancing, vintage vendors, and all the classic appeal of the vintage 1930s-1950s era. ​ The Western Swing Out Weekender 2025 returns with many event favorites including whiskey tasting, tequila tasting, best boots contest, vintage western fashion show, memorial picnic, and much more. All Concert Venues are in walking distance. We plan to invade the town with a foot stompin' and rebel rollickin' weekend of Western shirts, cowboy hats, and Patio dresses as far as the eye can see, all while enjoying an amazing line up of your favorite band
