Mentum Biography
Mentum is an Oslo-based Norwegian DJ duo known for their unique blend of
house and dance music. Since emerging on the scene in 2017, they have
established themselves as a fixture of Oslo’s nightlife, captivating audiences
with energetic performances and a signature sound.
Mentum’s talent has attracted recognition from some of the biggest names in
electronic dance music, including: David Guetta, Timmy Trumpet, R3HAB, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike,
Afrojack, KSHMR, MORTEN.
These industry icons have all supported Mentum’s tracks – a testament to the
duo’s global appeal.
In 2019, Mentum was chosen as the opening act for
Galantis at Oslo’s renowned Sentrum Scene, where they proved their ability to
command a large stage and energize the crowd for a headliner.
In the studio, the duo has collaborated with some of the top writers and
producers in the scene and released songs with K-391, Mike Perry, KAAZE,
Tungevaag, and Old Jim. Mentum has also co-written and produced music
alongside R3HAB, HBz, Gabry Ponte, and Martin Jensen, further establishing
their credentials as versatile songwriters and producers in the EDM scene.
Mentum is currently signed to Helix Records and has publishing deals with Ultra
Music Publishing and R3HAB’s Astra Music Publishing, further solidifying their
