She is brilliant. So much energy in her playing and singing, and such catchy tunes too. One encore is not enough. Just wish she gigged in London more often.

Zoe Hayter Biography
Zoe is an English-Czech singer-songwriter, musician, theatre, film and street performer, currently based between Ireland, the UK and France. Being born into a world-wide known travelling theatre company Footsbarn Theatre, Zoe has grown up performing theatre and music in the streets, venues and in the family’s big top all over Europe.
She has released her debut record of original music, Only Breathing with her first band at the age of 14, which she produced herself with money made busking every day after school. At 22 years of age, she has already played world’s biggest festivals such as Glastonbury or Electric Picnic, has toured through Ireland and France with the Oscar winning musician Glen Hansard and released her debut solo
record RAW at the beginning of this year which she toured Europe and UK with. The opening track of the record Side Effect has been played repeatedly on various radio stations including RTE Radio 1 by Fiachna Ó Braonáin, the guitarist from Ireland’s legendary rock group,
Hothouse Flowers. Fiachna described the song as “So beautiful, breathtaking.”
Coming to the end of 2024, Zoe has been to San Francisco joining Glen in The Fillmore whilst also performing her first US headline show. She has then gone onto touring the UK with the iconic indie-rock band Razorlight as their support act. Having studied theatre in Paris for two years, Zoe’s performace of her music takes the audience
on a journey, telling stories through songs with a theatrical twist, using different instruments to
accompany her gravelly voice, touching many styles from folk music to PJ Harvey’s punk blues.
“Her songs are autobiographical and touching, her performance is indeed raw as she stamps her feet to create a percussion backing for her delicate folk.”
- Matt Barnes, Bristol247.com, (Razorlight, Strange Brew, Oct’24)
“Zoe was the perfect opener, grounding the night in authenticity and storytelling.”
- Steve Muscutt, Musomuso.com, (Razorlight, Strange Brew, Oct’24)
