What started as a fun side project by Whiteout’s guitar player is slowly turning into something more. While some prefer hard-hitting heavy riffs and breakdowns and others prefer melodic post-grunge choruses, Taoist has decided to implement both into their sound. Imagine Staind two-stepping in the pit while Creed is wheelhouse-kicking the sh*t out of some teenagers. Well, that is what Taoist stands for. Taoist is currently releasing their first full-length album one song at a time. Set to be fully released by the Summer of 2025, this album includes every kind of inspiration and influence you might imagine. The DIY spirit is strong with this one, as the band writes, produces and releases their material by themselves. 100% DIY.
