Tariq Biography
Tariq is a Juno nominated singer/songwriter and recording artist and also a member of the critically acclaimed Vancouver band, Brasstronaut. The songs on Tariq’s latest solo offering feel a bit like short stories, hence the title, Telegrams (2019)—brief glimpses into fictional lives. Tariq is also a writer whose essays on song craft have appeared in the Walrus Magazine.
