FRANKIE KNUTH Singer/songwriter Frankie Knuth (Frankie & The Deadbeats) follows the legacy of troubadours and lost souls wandering the world, looking for glimmers of hope that even in scarred hearts there is still room for love. Oscillating between the American Wild West and Slavic brutalism. Songs he wrote for Frankie & The Deadbeats, in a solo version, shaved to the bone. After two recordings, "The Shining" and "The Possibility That Love Is Not Enough" (both on Pushteek rec.). MATT CHARETTE He is part of the Boston punk DIY scene and brings an uncompromising and punk-influenced version of Americana. Inspired by alternative country Son Volt or Whiskeytown, he still swears by his punk roots from Black Flag and The Clash to Boston classics SS Decontrol, Slapshot or Gang Green and confesses his love for classic country.
