Fight The Darkness Ministries Biography
Aaron and Amanda Rule bring a message of hope for anyone struggling with addiction, suicide, abuse, mental disease, and sexual trafficking. They both have powerful testimonies of battling some of these things personally, and overcoming them through the loving grace of Jesus Christ. We really believe that God saved us so that we can save others by bringing them to Jesus.
In the past few years, we’ve shared stages with bands like Ben Fuller, Red, Disciple, Fireflight, Seventh Day Slumber, Spoken, Sanctus Real, Convictions, The Letter Black, The Protest, Nate Parrish, and dozens more. We’ve been part of Kingdom Come Festival for five years, as well as speaking at SoulStock Festival, Pit Fest, Jesus Fest, and Ignite Festival. Overall, we’ve spoken in front of several thousand people.
We both feel committed to pulling people out of the darkness that is trying to consume them through these horrible struggles. And we’ve seen evidence that God is using us to do that: we’ve witnessed stories of lives given to Christ after hearing us speak, and people choosing to live instead of to die by suicide. We also love connecting people further to causes that speak to these issues, and we’ve partnered with Food For The Hungry, TWLOHA, Destiny Rescue, The Exodus Road, The Hope Line, Hands and Feet Project, and Pulse Movement.
Aaron has been a victim of horrible bullying. He has dealt with depression, and has been saved by the power of Christ. He understands the mindset behind feeling defeated and suppressed by persecutors and the violence behind judgement and gossip.
Amanda Rule is not only a soldier in God's army, but also has survived that unthinkable and indescribable travesties that have turned her into one of the strongest warriors that you'll ever know. She has healed from a giant TBI, along with an onslaught of other travesties.
She is also an army veteran, so she understands that world too. She was one of the National Anthem singers for her brigade at Ft. Leonard Wood. She was a 74D.
After she healed from her giant accident in 2018, she does so much for others. She talks to those that reach out, and is an electronic diary for some too. She is passionate about helping and saving those who need it. All that she wants to do for the rest of her life, is help countless others.
