Having just discovered them last month at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, was excited to see them again but in an outdoor venue. Their sound was great as was the musicianship of everyone in the band. It was brutally hot and they only had about 20 dedicated listeners (as this was at an Arts festival where music wasn’t the main draw for most) but they performed a great range of original music and a couple of great covers from Lucas Nelson and Jackson Browne. One of the reasons I’ve become an instant fan is the fact they have a pedal steel which gives the such a distinct sound. Can’t wait to see them again in Hopewell in Aug and New Hope in the fall.
