Lance Thompson is an American Contemporary R&B artist, songwriter, and producer. Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana he started to perfect his craft by studying his musical heroes, Michael Jackson, James Brown, and Stevie Wonder. Lance released his first single in 2018.
In 2025, Lance has amassed over 1,622,000 views across social media platforms. One of his latest music releases 'Yes, No, Maybe So', has garnered over 1 million views on YouTube. In 2017, he co-wrote and produced the Aaron Carpenter song, 'She Knows What She Doing' which was on the Billboard Top 100 and featured on a Netflix series. In 2020, he became the Louisiana Music Prize Champion. Lance is a trailblazer.
