Zanger/chansonnier Philippe Elan heeft een naam opgebouwd als virtuoos vertolker van de klassieke Franse chansons. In zijn theaterprogramma Enfer et Paradis presenteert hij naast zijn favoriete chansons een aantal eigentijdse popsongs in de stijl van Julien Clerc en Michel Fugain afkomstig van zijn gelijknamige 4-sterren studioalbum dat in 2023 uitkwam.
Enfer et Paradis ademt de sfeer van vernieuwing. Met verrassende bewerkingen van bestaande nummers, enkele eigen composities en een Nederlandstalige song die Lenny Kuhr voor Philippe schreef. Wat blijft is zorgvuldigheid en passie waarmee Edisonwinnaar Elan zijn songs brengt en natuurlijk de succesvolle samenwerking met vaste begeleider Reyer Zwart op piano en gitaar.

Philippe Elan Biography
Philippe Elan was born in Gascogne, south-west France in 1960 and came to live in the Netherlands in 1986. That year he made a flying start by winning the chanson competition of the Alliance Française.
Since then, he has been a much-seen interpreter of French chanson, with which he can be seen in theaters year after year with solo programs together with arranger, producer and permanent accompanist Reyer Zwart. He also performs with artists such as Gregor Bak and Cor Bakker.
