About this concert
Lucas Jack began his songwriting and performance career creating songs for family occasions as a small boy, a passion he carried as a teenager to the bars, hotel lobbies, and social events growing up in Michigan – anywhere with an unguarded piano.
This creative impulse was cultivated throughout his twenties, playing in bands, and honing his craft while practicing law in Chicago. Sacrificing the certainty of a professional career and following a move to Texas, he began pursuing music full-time and released his first album, The Chicago EP, in 2012. Two more studio albums followed: Before I Forget (2015) and Make it Beautiful (2016).
After 6 years of playing shows, writing music, and developing his sound with bandmates Justin Schneider and Mike Gomez, the band signed a record deal and recorded some of their most inspired music yet in 2023 at Studio G in Brooklyn (NY) with producer Pete Harper. The result is Bittersweet is Better, a journey through the complexities of love, aging, chasing the dream, and fending off demons backed by music from a band that is finding its voice.
Already compiling over 2 million streams, Bittersweet is Better is connecting in an elevated way with both old and new fans.

The show was great, this is the third time seeing them and enjoy the music. Really great music and they all sound amazing live! Definitely will see them again, and I like that they go around to talk to everyone who went to see them after the show.
