Guardrail is the “Diet Punk” band from Chicago, IL—loud, catchy, and a little easier to digest. Drawing from pop-punk (Sum 41, blink-182), skate punk (Lagwagon, Bouncing Souls), and post-hardcore (Story of the Year, Silverstein), they deliver high-octane anthems with zero filler. Their latest album Content earned praise for its no-nonsense bangers and punchy honesty, following standout releases like the Yikes EP and single “Social Meteor.” With a rotating lineup featuring Kevin Andrew (vocals), Ken Ugel (guitar), Xack Brame (guitar), Tyler Olmsted (bass/vocals), and Brennan Gilbert (drums)—plus occasional fill-ins Alyssa Laessig and Doug Brand—Guardrail is built to shred stages and scream singalongs.
