apple sauce

Apple Sauce is an Italian experimental band born in 2016.
Their debut album ‘Apple Sauce 出鱈目‘ was composed and recorded in the following years.
Federico Ascari (Within Destruction, Defamed, Naska and many more) took care of the mixing and mastering process.
By the end of 2019 they signed with Famined Records (LA) and they started to release singles and then, on the 11 september 2020, their debut album ‘Apple Sauce 出鱈目’.
During the years, the band shared the stage with many artists in the international metal scene, such as Paledusk, The Contortionist, Ralph Salati (Destrage), The Voynich Code, Asymmetric Universe, Folkstone.
For live experience, besides the Apple Sauce project, Luca and Alberto (former guitarist and drummer) played at Dong Open Air 2024 with the project Aexylium, and Alberto shared the stage with Dragonforce (European tour 2020) with his previous project Frozen Crown.
On the 18 June 2021, the band released their first DIY single ‘deez_nugget:‘ featured by a lot of classical musicians around the world (Fabrizio Buzzi, Daniel Zaera, Javier Caruda Ortiz, Gioia Gedicks, Tommaso De Bortoli, and others) the band Breethoven and the italian trapper brrradpitt.
On the 26 November 2021 they released their new single ‘Alexa‘ via Famined Records.
During the Summer of 2022 the band embarked on its first DIY tour with a session singer, Andrea Olivieri (Nekomata, Alogon), collaborating with different booking agencies and artists and performing in different clubs in Italy, Spain, Hungary, Germany and Switzerland.
In 2023 Diego Meraviglia (vocals), Giacomo Favitta (guitar) and Niccolò Buganza (drums) left the band. They have been replaced by Alberto Mezzanotte at the drums (drummer also for Nekomata, Aexylium) and a new vocalist Leonardo Jelo.
On December 2024 the band signed for BAM Booking.
Now they are producing a new EP and the second album.
