The Second Nature Biography
The Second Nature is a musical collective based in Rome, Italy and led by composer, guitarist, singer and mixing engineer Leonardo Mirenda.
Their repertoire consists of songs built around interweaving electric fingerpicking guitars accompanied by jazz-tinged drums and a melodic and aggressive bass.
The very personal sound of the band could be catalogued as art-rock/folk/grunge, with influences from jazz and classical music.
Or, as they sometimes like to call it, post-folk.
Their debut full-length album "Glued in Amber" was released in 2022, and it's available in CD and vinyl. The album was supported by a European tour the same year.
The "Masaic EP" was released in 2023 (available in CD), while the debut EP "El Olvido" was released in 2020.
Their latest release (June 8, 2024) is "Live at Il Cantiere", a double live album of their performance at Rome's historic theater Il Cantiere.
It's also available as a double CD and DVD boxset.
The band toured in Italy and Europe and did gigs in Mexico and in the UK.
