About this concert
Fifth Element jazz quintet returns to Reid's Distillery on Wednesday, March 19th from 8 to 10 pm when the band will share with you an evening of Dave Coules' beautiful arrangements of music from the Great American Songbook and more. You will hear singer Nina Richmond backed by Jack Gelbloom on piano, Ron Johnston on bass, Glenn Anderson on drums and Kurt Lund on tenor sax.

The repertoire of the band draws from The Great American Songbook as well as jazz standards covering the swing, ballads, latin and hard bop genres. Our goal is to draw the audience in with musical treatments of this repertoire that are listenable, accessible and engaging.
