Alex Anest

Anne Erlewine brings her contemporary folk to the Rumpus Room with her trio: guitarist and lap steel player Alex Anest and bassist Ozzie Andrews. Erlewine explores gentle zones of sound with her deceptively stark acoustic guitar and delicate lyricism, kindred to her sensitivities as a fine artist. Her debut album Over the Bones was produced by acclaimed singer-songwriter Chris Bathgate and recorded at High Bias Recordings in Detroit, with the musical support of local artists.
