Explode The TV Biography
Indie-rock, shoegaze, new wave band with infectious hooks and mad live performances. Latest single Unbreakable, a jangly guitar-pop track with a driving bass-line that explores feelings of being lost but the ultimate triumph in the face of adversity
Their influences include the classic post punk sounds of early U2, Echo and the Bunnymen, and the Cure as well as a love of britpop: Suede, the Verve, and Feeder. They have recently incorporated the dreamy and abrasive sounds of contemporary post punk revival bands including IDLES, Thus Love, High Vis, Murder Capital, and Dry Cleaning.
