DB Stewart Biography
Equally suited for arenas, sweaty rock clubs, and dusty back roads, DB Stewart’s sound is that of KALEO, Nothing But Thieves, Dua Lipa, and Tom Petty colliding.
Since his debut in 2018, DB Stewart and his producer Xstitch have danced along a robust sonic spectrum; delivering everything from intimate acoustic folk recordings to stadium-ready rock anthems, all primed for radio.
His debut album, To the Unknown (2022), primed him for headlining gigs throughout the greater Seattle and Tacoma area. While the gigs got bigger, DB showed no signs of slowing, releasing numerous singles throughout the year celebrating growth and grieving lost love. These skyrocketed him into his latest EP Winter Blues (2024), featuring the title track’s horn-laden funk-rock fusion fusion, the blues-rock slow burn of Gin and Time - described by Radio Castor as "skillfully [mixing] blues, rock and pop to tell his journey of love, loss and self-recovery," and the dark yet danceable The Problem with Falling in Love.
Looking ahead, DB Stewart plans to embark on his first-ever European tour in the summer of 2024, with regional tours of the United States in the works.
