After three months of bringing their electrifying live show to C-Boy’s Heart & Soul, Nakia & The Never Not Now are locking in a weekly Wednesday night residency.
Blending gritty rock ‘n’ roll, deep grooves, and powerhouse vocals, this band delivers a dynamic, high-energy set that keeps audiences coming back. With blazing guitars, smoking synthesizers, and raw, soulful intensity, they’ve become one of Austin’s must-see live acts.
Catch them every Wednesday at 9:30 PM followed by the soulful grooves and desert psych vibes of Heartchaser at 11:30PM.

Nakia Biography
Nakia is a genre-bending queer singer and songwriter who has been a beloved member of the Austin music community for over 20 years. Known as a consummate bandleader for his electrifying performances and unique blend of soulful and bluesy vocals, Nakia has led bands like His Southern Cousins and Blues Grifters, and was a semi-finalist of the first season of The Voice on NBC. Nakia has performed all over the world and shared stages with legendary performers such as Willie Nelson, B.B. King, Sharon Jones, and The Muppets.
