From a small town in Northern Ontario to lively crowds across Canada, US, UK, and Europe, André Bisson has proved that he has a message worth listening to. As the sole songwriter, arranger and producer for a group spanning from 6-20 musicians and 10 Studio Albums, André has created his own musical brand infused with soul, roots, blues, and R&B. Using an eclectic combination of instruments, he creates a musical story that becomes the soundtrack for his lyrics. Since taking to the stage at age 15, Throughout the years, André’s style and philosophy towards music has attracted attention in the music community. Since his first album in 2009, Andre has gained notoriety such as “Male Vocalist of the Year” - Hamilton Blues Awards, 5X Nominee at the Hamilton Arts Awards. André was selected by the Grand River Blues Society to compete at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Recently, Andre won the 2022 Song of the Year Award for the International Song Contest for Blues & Roots Radio with ‘Down The Line’, and nominated for a 2024 Maple Blues Award for Songwriter of the Year and his Music Video ‘Latchford’ was featured at the 2023 Hamilton Film Festival.
