jesperjesper is a dynamic new four-piece band from Zwolle, Netherlands, known for their infectious live performances that emphasize fun and energy. Their music is a captivating blend of alt-country and 90’s indie rock, drawing comparisons to iconic American acts like The Replacements and Ryan Adams, with occasional touches of the rootsy sounds reminiscent of Neil Young. The band was founded by Jesper Albers, a seasoned musician recognized as the drummer for Dutch rock band Paceshifters and formerly the drummer for Australian rock band Wolfmother. In jesperjesper, Albers takes on a new role as the lead vocalist and guitarist, bringing his love for indie and alt-country music to the forefront. In 2023, the band made waves with a successful run during the Popronde, followed by numerous performances and festivals throughout 2024. November 2023 saw the release of their debut EP, Keep An Eye Out, under the Goomah Music label. The band is currently in the studio, working on their debut album.
