Pink Nun Biography

Pink Nun released first single Quirky Time on April 5th 2024 and during the year of 2024 they delivered 5 singles, including their Christmas song Pink Bells.
First album is ready for the world and is due for release on March 7. 2025

Pink Nun started their musical journey together in Oslo, Norway during autumn 2022. They create catchy, danceable, and energetic rock, inspired by the 70’s - 80’s new wave, rock and punk scenes, but they have made their own sound and formula called Pink Wave Rock.
Pink Nun tells tales of characters lead astray on crooked paths, strange events and spiritual understandings and misunderstandings.
Pink Nun enter the stage with voodoo hats, pink capes and do the quirky dance. Stay high, be a Nunkie!

Pink Nun is
Annette Gil (lead vocals) was vocalist, songwriter, and keyboardist in the band Seven (1999 – 2009) and is a member (soloist and chorus) in the David Bowie tribute band The Goon Squad. She is guest vocalist on the last 2 albums of Gothminister as well as the last album, which will be released spring of 2024.
Recent years, she has released 3 solo albums (2013-2021) under her own name.

Mattias Hellberg (guitars, bass & vocals) has released 5 solo albums and 4 albums with Hederos/Hellberg. Lead singer in the Swedish band Numphet Noodlers and guitar player in bands such as The Hellacopters and The Soundtrack of Our Lives and contributes both in studio and as a live musician to major artists such as Håkan Hellström, Stefan Sundström, Janove and Erlend Ropstad.

Ole Tom Torjussen (drums) plays drums in bands such as Aunt Mary, Annette Gil (3 albums), Queen tribute The Show Must Go on and Easy Riders (Michael Krohn). He has appeared on 6 albums and 2 EPs with the band Seven, where he was a co- songwriter. He also works as a recording manager, producer and mixer for various bands and artists.

On stage PN brings the eminent pink nun prospect and bass player, Søren Hunskaar.
