Like many artist of the era, the Grateful Dead are story tellers; their music is fun and uplifting with colorful landscapes of improvisation in their live performances. The Grateful Dead are pure Americana; their music is not inclined to fit one established category such as pop, rock, Jazz, blues, folk rock, or country & western. Although several tunes can be identified under one of these styles overall, their music drew on all of these genres and more frequently fusing several of them together. As fans ourselves, we take tremendous pride in recreating the timeless sound of the Grateful Dead and capturing the beauty and spirituality of their live performances for every Grateful Dead fan, new and old to enjoy.
