About this concert
The first Sea Sound Festival begins on Thursday, July 18th at Martinska in Šibenik, and ends on Sunday, July 21st. Over four days and nights, on five stages with as many sound systems, we will see as many as 60 performers, comprising almost 100 musicians. Numerous DJ crews will take over the stages, playing various styles from roots, dub, drum’n’bass to eclectic electronica and trance. At the festival, there will also be two panels or lectures. “The Only Good System Is A Sound System”, the first panel, is a discussion with representatives of all the sound systems at the festival. The second event, “Sea Sound of Inner Child”, is a lecture by scientist and musician Sara Nikšić a.k.a. Inner Child, who has combined her profession as a marine biologist with creating music featuring whale sounds. Some of the artists performing include: Vibronics feat. Vanya O & Danniella Dee, Paolo Baldini DubFiles, Deekline, Wicked Dub Division feat. Michela Grena, One Dread, Dr. Obi meets Anja G, Roo T & Sistah Tena, The Homgrowns, SlonOff, Cura i Dečko, Val Vashar, Ivna Ji, Ynez, Inner Child.
