Intensity, playfulness and melody! Jester‘s Tears - no, Marillion‘s album of the same title did not serve as a musical reference for the German symphonic prog metal band known from the 1990s. Rather, the multi-layered symbol of the name as inspiration for their progressive music. After the first two albums „Reflections“ and „Illusion“, which were highly acclaimed by the press and sold more than 15,000 copies, especially in Asia, South America and Northern Europe, a record deal and countless concerts in front of Kai Hansen and Edguy, among others, as well as at the Headbangers Open Air with Blaze Bayley, Praying Mantis, Venom Inc. and Loudness, the band opens a new chapter in their long existence with their current album „Perception“. With progressive, symphonic and power metal elements, JESTER‘S TEARS have already developed their very own and unique style in the early days, which has now been continued and intensified with a modern touch. The ingredients are catchy melodies despite complex structures, a deep love for music and a friendship that is just as strong.
