About this concert
The highly anticipated debut album by Perth metal outfit, Primrose Path, is being unleashed!
Their debut album ‘Ruminations’ will be performed in full for one huge night at Amplifier Bar, Perth CBD, supported by three of Perth’s most engaging metal ensembles.
Primrose Path have built a reputation for their distinguished musicianship and captivating live performances. If you love music that is dark, delicious, heavy, emotive, full of mosh moments yet also a space to lose yourself for the night, this show is for you.
‘Ruminations’, boasts a stadium quality atmosphere and emotional deliverance. Suited beside other modern progressive metal albums, drawing sonic inspiration from alternative metal genres such as progressive death, metalcore, gothic rock and everything in between. Few heavy genres have not been explored and fluidly entwined by the band in the composition and arrangement of the eight track album.
The album thematically traverses various moods and states of mind, hoping to take the listener on an empowering and cathartic journey.
Supporting Primrose Path for this special occasion will be:
Progressive death metal ensemble, Neomantra;
Metalcore mayhem and shenanigans by, Buried Shallow; and,
The wildly energising event opener, alternative proglords, Breed.
Doors 7 pm, first act at 7:20pm.
You only get to launch a debut album once! Members of Primrose are excited to get to share this moment with their friends and peers of the Perth metal/alternative community, so come be a part of Perth metal history and celebrate this absolute beast of a debut album together.
