Loved it!

The sound was a bit odd the first two compositions. Then it got fixed by Alberto. The band played with a replacement bass player who integrated well with the team. Improvements could be made in solos. A tad too long and not on message. We were privileged to hear the first live interpretation of a new composition, I think it was “Otherwise”. Looking forward to next albums and concerts.

Emocionante, sonó espectacular

Aaron is an amazing pianist and composer of jazz music and was fortunate to hear 8 to 10 of his compositions arranged with the Chamber Jazz Consort. The evening was nothing less than spectacular if you love jazz and classical music and it was an opportunity of a lifetime to see a unique fusion of the two genres. If they would have played the same pieces on 4 or 5 more nights I would have bought tickets! Aaron is a very personable performer, explaining to the audience the pieces he will perform and a little more background on the tracks. If he plays in North America I will seek tickets to see him again in concert, else I will plan another trip to Europe. It was an very special evening and the solos by Aaron and the Chamber Jazz Consort were nothing less than spectacular. The accoustics for the venue were of course top notch and the audience was very appreciative of the hard work that was put into this unique fusion of styles.

Aaron and the band were amazingly great. Even better than the records. If you get a chance you should go. Jarrett influenced but his own sound for sure.

Receiving a hometown welcome, Aaron and Little Big created an evening of strong melodies, strong solos and playing like a band. Counter point, call and response with strong solos from each member. Strong recommendation.

Great performance. I hoped the set could be a little longer.

Excelente concert

New, younger band doing commissioned works from 2007. Some material has been done by other Parks groups, but this was the first time presented as developed. Band all played great. Smart, young players. He keeps moving forward.

The first headline date for Carrington at Carnegie Hall was a huge success on all levels. Room sounded wonderful, the band played with conviction and flair, and the social message shared was powerful and undeniable.

Awesome intimate ambient. Incredible enjoyment on every note. Parks compositions are on another level, song and improvisation blend fluently. From lyricism, to incredibly energetic passages to extreme delicacy, what a journey! Great incorporation to the Little Big project of a new rhythm section with Chris Morrissey on bass and Josh Dion on drums. Aaron Parks and Greg Tuohey were nothing short of sublime.

Perfect concert with some great new pre release tracks performed.

The Ben Wendel Seasons Band was a spectacular event! I got to see my favorite piano player in action accompanied with an amazing group. 5 stars! Thanks to Village Vanguard for choosing these skilled gentle men to share their sounds. 🙏🏼
