Broken lives over broken beats, The Subtheory makes haunting alternative electronica, weaving bass grooves over crashing drums to provide a backdrop for melancholy cathartic stories. Portishead meets John Carpenter meets Radiohead meets Phantogram.
Every track is written from a place in the depths of the soul where memories and emotions swell and crash down on each like waves making outsider art for those that don’t quite fit in.
Splitting their time writing and performing their own music and soundtracking TV, Film and Radio including multi award winning documentaries, they are currently recording their debut album which is due out in mid 2024.
