Bit Brigade will be performing "Super Mario World" LIVE! "The word "play" is probably an understatement- these guys shred through the games as expertly as the band wails on their instruments." -Nintendo Power (11/2006) dannyBstyle is the live performance group of video game composer Danny Baranowsky (Super Meat Boy, Binding of Isaac, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Cadence of Hyrule, Rift of the Necrodancer). The band performs Danny's compositions as a trio with guitar, bass, and Danny on electric drums, and accompanied by backing tracks and a synchronized light show. In celebration of the launch of Rift of the Necrodancer, dannyBstyle presents The Rift Tour, performing in many cities along the North American West coast, and playing music from Rift as well as some extra surprises. Drawing from his dynamic style, expect to hear a wide range of sounds from metal to disco, dance and funk and genre blends in between. Lizz Robinett is known for creating English adaptations of anime openings and endings, and for breathing new life into her favorite video game music, sometimes even writing her original lyrics! Sammus aka Dr. Enongo Lumumba-Kasongo (she/her) is a black feminist rapper, beatmaker, and scholar from Ithaca, NY with family roots in Côte D'Ivoire and the Congo. She is the David S. Josephson Assistant Professor of Music at Brown University as well as the Faculty Director of the Black Music Lab. Since 2010 Sammus has written, produced, and recorded six albums and a beat tape, and she has worked on several one-off collaborations with notable artists including Moor Mother, Open Mike Eagle, Sadie Dupuis, and William Brittelle in addition to her collaborations with video game developers, podcasters, and filmmakers. She is currently completing two studio projects slated for release in 2025. Delorean Overdrive is a high-octane synthwave band that transports listeners straight to the neon-soaked streets of the 1980s. With pulsating beats, shimmering synths, robotic vocals and a nostalgic nod to retro-futurism, Delorean Overdrive delivers an electrifying experience that blends the past and future in perfect harmony. Their music captures the essence of a time when VHS tapes and arcade games ruled, driving through soundscapes inspired by classic sci-fi, horror films, and video games. Whether you're cruising down memory lane or revving up for the future, Delorean Overdrive will take you on a sonic ride you won't forget. Amanda Lepre is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who specializes in video game-inspired compositions. With rich soprano vocals and a raw, heavy acoustic technique, she weaves the emotional journey of beloved games into her songs to act as a parallel alongside her own often vulnerable lyrics and melodies. Known also for her Austin-based video game music tribute band Descendants of Erdrick, her original songwriting has been the foundation of her artistry for over two decades. Fresh off the XP stage at MAGFest, we're bringing to you the coziest rock show possible - with Stemage and The Arkadian's PAJAMA JAM! With arrangements from video games, 80s movies, and the occasional pinball machine, get ready for a high energy, adrenaline fueled set filled with fruit snacks, bubbles and tasty licks. Chipocrite, a.k.a. Paul Weinstein, is a Philadelphia-based musician who uses original Nintendo Game Boys, often accompanied by live guitar, bass, drums and/or other lo-fi sequencers, to create complex audio masterpieces. His multifaceted but catchy compositions combine the game sounds of his childhood with modern music influences. chromabat comes in a packet of glitter and sludge. Apply directly to the retinas for desired enjoyment. For optimal use, consume all at once. Store remaining debris in cool, dark place. Based in San Francisco, visualist Dæmon Core (formerly known as Noukon) infiltrates your eye sockets with nostalgic malfunctions, tenebrous obscurities, and synthetic nebuli built into a rhythmic, abyssal textile of light, darkness, and 8-bit teletubby entrails.
