Zement

Zement is an Experimental-Rock-Duo, consisting of the multi instrumentalists Philipp Hager
(Guitar, Synthesizer, Bass, Saxophone, Vocals) and Christian Büdel (Drums, Percussion), who
combines elements of Neo-Krautrock, Neo-Psychedelia, Noise-Rock & different types of
contemporary Electronic Dance Music and the spirit of Free-Jazz into a unique eclectic
sound-mix, set to take the listeners on a mesmerizing sonic journey!
Drawing on influences from the early electronic, Autobahn-inspired works of Kraftwerk, and
the hypnotic repetition of Krautrock legends Neu! and CAN, Zement have crafted a unique
hybrid sound that feels both nostalgic and futuristic. The rhythms revolve and the
synthesizers swirl. Combined with psychedelic fuzzy guitars, cosmic Saxophone sounds,
surrealistic vocals and pulsating drums and percussion, this music manufactory brings you a
new hot sound with a psych-pop-twist, that you can dance and drift away to. The result is an
incredibly rich range of sounds that retain a pulsating energy.
