Ocean City’s seen it all—storms that ripped the boardwalk apart, fires that reshaped the skyline, tides that never stop rolling in. The bars have changed, the crowds too, but a good drink, a salty breeze, and a song that cuts through the noise still hit the same.
This year, I’m bringing my solo, unplugged set back to Skye Bar—no big stage, no frills, just me, a guitar, and a skyline like no other. Gritty originals, unexpected covers, and stories that belong to places like this.

Coursey Willis is a haunting alternative rock figure, known for his poignant lyrics, brooding sound, and galvanizing performances. His music delves into addiction, despair, heartbreak, and tragedy, yet there is beauty amidst the darkness. With a voice reminiscent of Eddie Vedder and Layne Staley, audiences appreciate his nostalgia, raw honesty, and introspective songs. Willis formed a permanent production team and touring band with members of Candlebox and Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, having previously worked with other prominent musicians.
