Indecent Proposal

“Indecent Proposal” is more than a name – it's a mindset. Our “Indecent Proposal” is that the entire music industry stop trying to be so “decent.” Everywhere you look, you see musicians chasing streams, follows, and likes, putting out any content they can, just to gain subscribers.
Indecent Proposal are an original band based out of Duluth, MN - the birthplace of songwriting legend Bob Dylan. Like Dylan, we take our songcraft very seriously. Like Dylan, we want to avoid the constraints that come with being tied to a single genre of music. We write music because we enjoy it. We explore different genres and sounds that further expand our songwriting.
The band consists of Josh Brown (Lead Singer/Producer), Terry Beckman (Bass Guitar/Manager), Jevin Joki (Drummer), Jason Soderlund (Lead Guitar), and Peter Dotson (Lead Guitar).
In today’s world we are constantly divided. We fight endlessly over trivial topics and issues, when, if you were to dissolve the tension and have a discussion over a nice cold drink, we would find that we're more the same than different. We are told that no matter what role we play in society, there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. “Indecent Proposal” are simply saying “enough with all the pressures and expectations!” Let people be who they are and do what they are going to do. We only get one ride on this rock so we better enjoy it while we can. Respect one another, love one another, but never try to BE one another. Be yourself and be “indecent.”
