Forming in Gainesville, Florida in December 2010, Dikembe swiftly made their mark with a compelling blend of emo and indie rock influences on their debut EP, Chicago Bowls. Garnering attention for their emotive lyrics and dynamic compositions Dikembe has released 4 LP's and spent the last 15 years touring with bands like Foxing, Braid, Hot Water Music, Prince Daddy & The Hyena, and Pool Kids. 2025 sees the band coming back to the UK for the first time in 8 years, and a new record coming out later this year.

The show was pure perfection! First Sinking Seasons came on and lit it up. Great talent. Second up was Aren’t We Amphibians and they smashed. I wasn’t expecting them to be so talented. Third up was Tiny Sills and her voice was magic. The band around her electrified the stage. Finally Dikembe came on and brought the house down. No literally tables were collapsing onto the stage. Spectacular. Best show I’ve ever been to. Their passion was infectious.
