Mean Messiah

Metal from North Bohemia since 2013. Mean Messiah was formed by the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and producer Dan Friml.
Dan recorded debut Mean Messiah album himself in his recording studio and at a time of release, he started looking for suitable band mates because he really wanted to present Mean Messiah live. After several months of searching and rehearsing the line-up was complete and the band has started to play gigs in April 2014 with very positive feedback from the public because of the group’s spontaneity, forcibility and instrumental maturity of all members.
Second album Divine Technology was released on May 5th 2020, which was a success with both critics and listeners. Unfortunately after a few months the band breaks up and Dan starts looking for new members. In the spring of 2023, Dan is joined by Miloš Meier, known for his work in Dymytry and Drumming Syndrome. And shortly after that, the line-up is completed by bassist Lenka Čechová. The new line-up recorded the new single Fire, which was released on November 1, 2023, and the new album, released on February 29, 2024. In November 2024, Miloš Meier leaves the band and his brother Matěj Meier joins Mean Messiah as a new drummer.
