We are pleased to announce this year’s Blues for Brain Tumours Gig! With an amazing line up @hayden Woodall @sleepwalk @ramblinpreachers at @craufurdarms. Blues for Brain tumours was set up in 2024 after in mid 2023, Josh's father was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. We ran our first event the next summer, where we raised just under £1000 for The Brain Tumour Charity. Josh's dad sadly passed in late 2024. This year’s going to be even bigger and better and we aim to raise even more for The Brain Tumour charity!

Sleepwalk Biography

SLEEPWALK are an alternative blues rock outfit based in the Milton Keynes and Northampton area. The band was formed by guitarist and singer Josh Cox then now joined by Izzy Clay on drums and Laurie Glass on bass.

As a trio they explore a unique variety of styles but retain a raw bluesy edge throughout all their tracks. Their influences include Dan Patlansky, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and many more.

Their debut single titled ‘I’m leaving’ explores the heavy rock end of their sound leaning on artists from Led Zeppelin to Rage Against The Machine. The track discusses how society puts down creative people and aims to get them to live a normal working life and ‘forget their dreams’.
