Benjamin Cook Biography
British pianist and composer Benjamin Cook combines modern classical music with influences from Max Richter, Ludovico Einaudi and Frédéric Chopin.
In 2022 he decided to release his own music with his first single Blossom, throughout the years he has amassed over 300,000 streams on Spotify releasing six more singles which include collaborating with the Northern Film Orchestra.
After completing a Masters Degree in Composing for Moving Images he has gone on to score music for feature films, short films and advertisements. Cook’s music was described as “Utterly Devine” by BBC Music Introducing and in 2024 he garnered acclaim when he was chosen as a “One to watch” composer with Scala Radio. Cook’s music has been broadcasted on Amazing Radio and was nominated for Best Single of 2022 with One World Music Radio.
In 2024, he will be releasing his first concept E.P for Piano and strings.
