Sister Biography

Get ready to crank it up - Sister is back with a vengeance! They’re finally unleashing the first single from their highly anticipated 2025 upcoming album.

First out from the album is the title track The Way We Fall, which is the ultimate tease of what’s to expect. Louder, heavier and angrier than ever before.

Swedish hard rockers Sister blend hedonistic, classic metal with churlish, horror-infused glam-punk, resulting in a ruckus that falls somewhere between L.A. Guns, White Zombie, and the Misfits.

Formed in 2006, the quartet joined the ranks of the burgeoning New Wave of Swedish Sleaze Metal (Hardcore Superstar, Nasty Idols, Crashdiet, Vains of Jenna) with their 2009 debut EP “Deadboys Making Noise”. Not long after, the band inked a worldwide deal with Metal Blade Records after being discovered by Primordial’s Alan Averill and issued their debut long-player, 2011's well-received ”HATED”.

The success took the band to the largest stages around Europe including Sonisphere Festival in Madrid, Summer Breeze, and Bang Your Head Festival in Germany. Sister also toured with bands like Skid Row, U.D.O, Hardcore Superstar and Wednesday 13.

Along the ride Sister have developed their sound into a heavier and darker approach, which suits the band perfectly. In 2024 Sister signed a new worldwide record deal with the Stockholm based label Icons Creating Evil Art for the upcoming release of the long awaited fifth studio album ”The Way We Fall” It will be worth the wait!
