Gaia Ekho Biography
Gaia Ekho discovered music at the age of 13 and started her journey by enrolling in a conservatory during high school. After completing her high school education, she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in music. Her interest in electronic music became tangible in 2021 when she participated in the Housekeeper Podcast Contest. Winning the competition marked her big breakthrough, making her a highly intriguing figure. Combining her academic background and passion for classical music with electronic music disciplines, Gaia created a unique sound. She began performing at major festival stages, building her own audience.
With sets and productions that encompass a melodic journey filled with vocals inspired by children’s choirs—something Gaia has always found deeply moving—where the groove and dance rhythms never fade, she has built a loyal audience. Following performances on international festival stages such as Sónar, The Gardens Of Babylon, Chillout Festival, and Electronica Festival, she founded her own collective, Anadole, in 2022. The concept was designed as a multidisciplinary community featuring artists and the unique characteristics of the city. As a record label as well, Anadole became widely acclaimed as a reflection of Gaia’s vision and quickly attracted prominent artists to its roster.
In 2023, the artist expanded her career by incorporating Hybrid performances, showcasing her piano and vocals during her sets. Believing that music should have no boundaries within the aesthetic rules of her own world, she continues her journey with this philosophy. Additionally, Gaia Ekho serves as a student coach at the London Music Academy while also continuing her academic papers and theoretical studies in the field.
